Return Policy

There are various reasons why customers may seek a refund or return of an item(s).

Listed below are the most common reasons for cancellations and refunds:

  • Revised decision
  • Delay in delivery
  • Product out of stock
  • The unsuitability of the item
  • Dissatisfaction with product quality
  • Dissatisfaction with the service provided
  • Unavailability of the item

The Furn Shop (TFS) follows fair trading practices and never withholds customer funds or unreasonably refuses returns. We prioritize providing complete peace of mind to our customers and respect their statutory rights.

(a) If you wish to cancel your order before the item is delivered to you, simply email us at [email protected]. You are not required to provide a reason for cancellation. Upon receiving your request, we will cancel your order. Refunds will be processed within 7 to 30 days, and your funds will be returned to you.

Please note that this policy applies to The Furn Shop (TFS).

RETURN POLICY:

  • To ensure a successful return process, please adhere to the following requirements:
  • Items must be returned in their original or appropriate packaging. Failure to adequately pack the items may result in a refusal to cancel the pickup.
  • A pickup charge of £60 will apply, which will be deducted from the amount paid for the goods. This deduction will be made from the refund amount, which shall be processed within 10-12 working days post collection.
  • No pickup charge will be applied if you are returning the goods due to damage, wrong delivery, or incomplete delivery.

Please note that the refund will be issued using the same mode of payment used when placing your order. It is not possible to issue a refund to a different account.

Process for Returning Items?

You have a period of fourteen (14) working days to return an item for any reason.

Please keep the packaging as we will require images of the boxes if the delivered item is damaged, faulty, or incorrect. Photographic evidence of the reported damage or discrepancy is necessary for us to arrange a free-of-cost replacement.

  • Any damage or discrepancies must be reported to us in writing within 7 days of delivery.
  • Please note that made-to-order furniture cannot be returned.
  • Please be aware that no replacements are offered for clearance items.

If you wish to return your items due to them not being fit for purpose or if you change your mind and decide not to keep them, a fee of £60 (SIXTY POUNDS) will be charged for arranging a collection.

Please Note:

  • Mattress covers, Mattresses, & Pillows are not covered under this policy due to hygiene reasons. If a mattress is faulty or damaged, The Furn Shop will only be able to replace or repair it. Made to order Furniture is not covered under this policy, except if the item is substandard or has been unintentionally damaged by us during transit. Flat Pack furniture on which assembly has been attempted is not covered under this policy. If there is an issue with flat pack furniture, The Furn Shop won't collect the item for a full refund. Instead, we shall either replace the damaged part or the entire order. Delivery Charges & other Service charges are not covered under this policy. Once the thirty (30) working days time has lapsed, we cannot accept returns under this policy. On ready-assembled wardrobes, please note that if the wardrobe does not fit into your property, we do not accept returns. Please ensure you measure your property before placing an order for the ready-assembled wardrobes.

Refund and Return Policy

If a product from The Furn Shop is delivered damaged, faulty, or incorrect, and you would like to request a refund with the collection, we kindly ask you to provide us with photographic evidence of the damaged/faulty/incorrect item along with its original packaging. Please allow us 10-14 days to make arrangements for the collection.

To be eligible for a refund, the returned product must be in the same condition as when it was supplied, unused, and in its original/appropriate packaging.

Once we receive the returned items, we will forward your refund request to our accounts team. The refund will be credited to the card you used for payment within 30 days from the date we receive the item in our warehouse.

Please note that if you have attempted to assemble the product yourself or assigned a third party to do so, and the item is damaged during assembly, we cannot accept responsibility for the damage and are unable to offer a return or refund.

Therefore, any claims related to the website, sales, accounts, or any other content within our website shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales. In the event of any dispute, you agree to resolve it in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
